Parents of incoming freshmen are invited to learn about Carl Junction High School policies and procedures while meeting the administrative team and school counselors. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and prepare for a successful start to the school year.

Freshman Orientation (Students Only)

Tuesday, August 18 | 8:30–11:00 a.m.

Incoming freshmen will receive their class schedules, tour the building, walk through each of their classes, and take a group photo to commemorate the beginning of their high school journey.

First Day of School

Monday, August 24 | School Begins at 8:00 a.m.

We can't wait to welcome students back for another exciting school year. Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. We look forward to seeing everyone back in our buildings!

Senior Parent Night

Wednesday, August 26 | 6:30 p.m. | High School Gym

Parents of seniors are invited to attend an informational meeting with Mrs. Kristy Jones, Postsecondary Advisor, to learn about important deadlines, timelines, scholarships, college admissions, financial aid, and planning for life after high school.

This version also flows chronologically, making it easy for families to follow the back-to-school schedule from the first community event through the first day of school and beyond.
